The off-road capability of the new Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled is obvious within its stability.
*A stronger and longer swing arm with a reinforced frame, make this machine more stable than previous Scrambler 800 models.
*It was built with more protective gear such as, a rear sprocket protection fin, chain guard and a skid plate to further increase off-road stability.
*The suspension is 46mm Kayaba fork and fully adjustable, as is the rear Kayaba shock.
*This is the highest OE street scrambler available with 7.9 inches.
*Front wheels are 19 inch to include dual sport options.
*Tires are Pirelle Scorpion Rally STR on/off road.
*The Desert Sled also has a euro 4 compliant 803cc L-twin air and oil cooled engine that’s been reinvented with a smoother response and new throttle control. This is especially important at lower rpm’s.
*75 horsepower peaks at 8,250 rpm and 50.2 lb. of torque at 5,750 rpm.
*Standard Bosch 9.1 ABS
*The Desert Sled is available in White Mirage or Red Dusk, both featuring a black frame and gold wire-spoke tubeless rims.
* Available in March 2017, at a US retail price of $11,395.
