Honda CBR300R Competes with Yamaha R3 and Ninja 300

CBR300R
Great for beginners and experienced motorcyclists alike, the new CBR300R now packs a 300-class engine that delivers a 17-percent boost in peak power compared to the CBR250R. With a full sport fairing, dual headlights and new exhaust system, the CBR300R takes its styling cues from Honda’s larger-displacement CBR® series. New seat shaping and side covers provide an easier reach to the ground. With more power, nimble handling, affordable price and low operating cost, the CBR300R makes every ride a fun one. It’s available in Black, Red, Pearl White/Red/Blue, Matte Black Metallic/Yellow. And at only $4399 for the standard model and $4899 for the ABS version it’s a great option for new riders.

Light. Narrow. Low.

Because it’s a single-cylinder machine, the CBR300R is narrow, with a low 30.7-inch seat height and light 357-pound curb weight. The 30.7-inch seat height does more than help make sure the CBR300R fit a wide range of riders, it makes it easier to put your feet down at stoplights and in parking lots—a big confidence builder for new novice riders.

The Power of One.

The CBR300R uses a single-cylinder engine with fuel injection, double-overhead cams and a counterbalancer. Sure that’s tech talk, but the architecture offers some very real advantages, perhaps the most important of which is power delivery: a single offers the kind of torque and midrange power that’s well suited for all levels of riders.

Stop With Confidence.

Honda’s Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) is available on the CBR300R ABS model. It’ll have you ready for those unanticipated challenges you may encounter while stopping.
