NADA:
*Specializes specifically in auto values
* Focuses on weekly auction values to set approximations
* Uses fair market value based on recent sales of comparables to determine the price
* Tends to be the industry standard with dealers
*Better to use if you are getting a dealer direct loan
KELLEY BLUE BOOK:
*Best for used car valuation
*Deals with a number of different consumer products
* Assesses values monthly.
* Uses a more complete assessment of the various factors of the car such as the state of the leather, mileage, etc
* Used more frequently in independent auto sales
BLACK BOOK:
*Best for used car valuation, especially for older and special interest vehicles
* Premium subscriber content that involves dealer auctions and wholesale prices
*Valuations are more specific
