Mecum Auctions, the world’s largest collector-car auction company, returns to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas this Oct. 3-6 with an estimated 1,000 American muscle cars, classics, exotics, Corvettes, Hot Rods, Resto Mods and more set to cross the auction block.

In addition to the auction-headlining LaFerrari Aperta and LaFerrari Coupe scheduled to be unveiled on Oct. 1, the auction highlights for Mecum Dallas 2018 include a host of other collector favorites. Among some of the standouts are a 1957 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible (Lot F116) and a 1957 Buick Super Convertible (Lot S91), both of which have benefited from body-off restorations, as well as a pair of highly documented 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS Z28s (Lots S101 and S69.1) with matching-numbers 302 cubic-inch engines and 4-speed transmissions.

Several private collections will also headline the auction lineup, and among those consigned is The Smith Collectionboasting a broad selection of Corvettes from a 1958 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible (Lot F154) to a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Pace Car Edition (Lot F159) that served as an Indy 500 Festival Car and shows just 2,827 miles since new. The Z28 Collectionto be offered on Friday is another focused assemblage, this one presenting Chevrolet Camaro Z28s ranging from the model and performance package’s introduction in 1967 through a 1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Pace Car Edition (F199.1). Among collections set to be offered entirely at no-reserve is the 12-car offering from The Sickies Garage Collection featuring classic muscle, drag cars and Pro Street selections; The Leaded Gas Collection encompassing a vast selection of vehicles from pickups and Porsches to American muscle; as well as the 10-vehicle offering from The Henderson Pitt Collectioncomprising classic trucks and cars with unique appeal.
