Maserati Canada is bringing its full model lineup to the 2018 Canadian International AutoShow held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre beginning today. A display that highlights the breadth of Maserati’s vehicles in 2018 will feature sports cars including the legendary GranTurismo, as well as the Ghibli sport sedan, the flagship Quattroporte executive sedan, and the Levante sport utility vehicle – the “Maserati of SUVs.”
As auto show press previews begin today, Maserati Canada is also celebrating the recent bestowing of the Maserati Quattroporte with the 2018 ALG RV Award in the Premium Executive segment. ALG’s Residual Value Awards (RVA) recognizes vehicles in 26 segments that are forecasted to retain the highest percentage of MSRP after a three-year period.
On the show’s display floor, audiences will experience Maserati’s range in an assortment of palettes and trims. The award-winning Quattroporte model will be present in a Bianco Alpi exterior complemented with Q4 all-wheel-drive, and in GranSport trim. Two 2018 Ghibli S Q4 sport sedans will be shown to Canadian audiences in Toronto, as well, one in GranLusso trim in a Blu Passione color, and another as a GranSport example, in dark Nero Ribelle. In addition, a 2018 Levante GranLusso with a stunning Cuoio Ermenegildo Zegna interior and Blu Passione exterior will join a white Levante S GranSport. Rounding out the lineup will be a 2018 GranTurismo MC in Rosso Trionfale.
All four model lines have received upgrades for 2018. Updates to the Ghibli and Levante MY18 include the addition of GranLusso and GranSport trims, previously introduced in the Quattroporte range. Customers now have the option to choose between one of two distinct trims for the Levante and the Ghibli: GranSport or GranLusso. GranSport was conceived to meet the demands of a sportier expression of the high-end lifestyle, while the sophisticated and luxurious GranLusso cabin combines a choice of Ermenegildo Zegna silk or full premium Italian upholstery and includes upgrades such as Radica open-pore wood trim and a leather steering wheel.
In addition, new for 2018, the Ghibli and Quattroporte now also feature Adaptive full LED headlights with glare free high-beam, based on Matrix technology for Ghibli, developed in collaboration with Magneti Marelli Automotive Lighting, and on L-shape technology for Quattroporte. Both Maserati sedans are fitted with power-upgraded 3.0L V6 engines as well, with the new, performance-enhancing Integrated Vehicle Control system (IVC), developed by Bosch in collaboration with Maserati.
Canadian pricing for the 2018 Ghibli starts at an MSRP of CAD $88,500, with the Levante available for a base price of CAD $92,900. The Quattroporte starts at CAD $127,500, and the GranTurismo begins at CAD $157,000. All prices are excluding taxes.
The 2018 Canadian International AutoShow in Toronto will be open to the public from February 16-25.
