Indian Motorcycle, America’s first motorcycle company, today announced “Honoring Heroes,” a new incentive program designed to recognize and reward all military personnel for their purchase of any of the all-new Indian Chief motorcycle models.

Indian Military 00 Incentive

The Honoring Heroes program extends a $1,000 cash back incentive to all U.S. and Canadian Armed Forces personnel toward a new Indian Chief motorcycle, and will run through 2014. The program is available to all active, reserve, National Guard, and retired military personnel. To take advantage of the $1,000 incentive customers must simply visit any Indian Motorcycle dealership throughout North America and present valid military identification.

“Indian Motorcycle has a long and legendary history of supporting our Armed Forces, and supplied many thousands of bikes to the military in both WWI and WWII,” said Steve Menneto, vice president of motorcycles for Polaris. “We are very proud of that heritage and today we continue that tradition with our Honoring Heroes program. You can expect strong and ongoing commitment from Indian Motorcycle to the brave men and women of our military in 2014 and beyond.”

Today’s announcement follows on the heels of two other Indian Motorcycle initiatives created to reinforce the company’s steadfast support of military personnel and their families. The “Stars and Stripes Saturday Sponsored by Indian Motorcycle” program provides U.S. military personnel free admission to any of the upcoming Progressive® International Motorcycle Shows (IMS) courtesy of Indian Motorcycle. Also, in partnership with Jack Daniel’s and the Armed Services YMCA, Indian Motorcycle has customized and donated the ‘No. 7’ serial number off the production line of its 2014 Indian Chief models to the “Operation Ride Home” program for the benefit will benefit military families. The No. 7 custom bike will be auctioned by Barrett-Jackson, one of the wor

ld’s leading auctioneers of classic vehicles, at its Scottsdale, AZ auction, which runs January 12-19, 2014.
