The Gone Farmin’ Spring Classic in Davenport, Iowa, April 5-7, soared to nearly $4.5 million in overall sales with 460 tractor and Road Art® lots crossing the block throughout the two-day auction at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in the heart of the Midwest.
Tractors achieved an impressive 98-percent sell-through rate in front of a standing-room-only crowd of bidders and spectators.
Capturing top-sale honors was a remarkable 1938 Minneapolis-Moline UDLX (Lot F20) from the Don Kehn Collection, which sold for $135,450. The UDLX was the first farm tractor with a cab, and just 125 of these impressive machines were produced. A 1922 Waterloo Boy Model N (Lot F21)—also from Kehn’s collection—obtained the second spot at $92,400. Other offerings to claim a spot in the top 10 include a 1916 Waterloo Boy Model R (Lot F16) that brought $78,750 and a rarely seen 1910 International Model F Roadster (Lot F22)—another from Kehn—which sold for $68,250.
