Mullen Technologies will debut the Qiantu K50 at the New York International Automobile Show in April. The modular and flexible platform can accommodate battery configurations and technologies which render upgraded model development possible as a next step. Available in six standard colors with multiple color design options for buyer to choose from, the model features all-aluminum body frame features a BIW of only 515 lbs., significantly lighter than traditional steel vehicles. The 29 components of the carbon-fiber body panels on the K50 weigh only 103 lbs. in total. This is over 40% lighter than steel and 20% lighter than aluminum alloy. The K50 sports a F&R dual motor, all-wheel drive, multiple driving modes as well as a double wishbone independent suspension to help tires achieve 100% grip performance.
